The Augsburg College Honors Program is sponsoring a Monday Forum this fall, which began Sept. 8 and continues through Oct. 13, 6-7 p.m., Christensen Center, Augsburg College campus. The Monday Forum provides an opportunity for students in the Honors program to engage current issues and to gather as a larger honors community.

With city and state governments pressed financially but with life in larger cities improving by many measures, this seems to be a remarkably dynamic time in the life of larger cities. As a result, the forum will be dedicated to life in the city of Minneapolis. A variety of noted speakers are scheduled, including:

Sept. 29 – Don Samuelson, city councilman
Oct. 6 - R.T. Rybak, mayor of Minneapolis
Oct. 13 - Sandy Vargas, Augsburg regent

The Monday Forums are free and open to the public.
