  • Submit through Inside Augsburg (Under “Augnet Services” in left column)
  • Edited by Marketing and Communication staff

Daily A-mail (most read by staff and faculty)

  • Submit through Inside Augsburg before 10 a.m. each day
  • Post stories about department events, faculty or student accomplishments, grants, awards, scholarships, etc.
  • Focus on events relevant to Auggies and include basic information such as dates, times, deadlines, and locations
  • Posts should be 150-250 words
  • May be edited by Marketing and Communication

Posters (most noticed by students)

  • Designed by Marketing and Communication
  • Submit a New Project request (right side of this webpage)
  • Please allow up to 6 weeks for design and printing
  • Post yourself on or off campus, distribute to faculty for office doors
  • Charge to your budget

Printed invitations, postcards, or handouts

  • May be designed by Marketing and Communication
  • Pay for printing and postage from your budget
  • Printed invitations/postcards are best used to target off-campus audiences
  • Handouts can be distributed on campus
  • Submit a New Project request (right side of this webpage)
  • Please allow up to 6 weeks for design and printing

Digital displays (Christensen, OGC, Anderson, Urness/Mortensen)

  • Designed by Marketing and Communication
  • Submit a Project Request
  • Please allow up to 2 weeks for design
  • Can change daily
  • No cost
  • 15-20 screens at a time, 6 seconds viewing time for each screen

Your department webpage

  • Research shows that the official College website is the primary place prospective students and parents go to learn about the College
  • Post information about ongoing programs, faculty accomplishments, grants, awards, and events

Table in Christensen Center lobby or quad (one of the most effective ways to reach students)

Social media

  • Social media can be a supporting manner in which to share your department’s story
  • Visit News and Media to learn more.
Project Request To request a print, electronic, digital screen, website, photography, or other type of project from the Office of Marketing and Communication use the project request form.
