Commitment to Accessibility for Events and Activities
at Augsburg University
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, section 504, no qualified person will be denied access to, participation in, or the benefits of, any program or activity operated by Augsburg University because of disability.
Because of this commitment, the University Events office provides resources and guidance in conjunction with the CLASS office to work with event hosts to provide reasonable accommodation to ensure full access to Augsburg events.
Augsburg’s obligation to consider the needs of participants with disabilities extends to any event sponsored by the University including student organizations, departments, external groups, or programs whether held on or off campus and whether members of the public are invited to attend.
