Who We Are
The University Events department represents Augsburg University to alumni, parents, and friends, as well as to prospective students and the general public.
Through experiential events and opportunities, we inform all of these constituents about the high quality and diversity of Augsburg’s programs, provide opportunities for our many constituents to interact, and celebrate the achievements of our students, graduates, faculty, and staff.
It is our objective to provide leadership and support that connect the Augsburg University community, achieve the goals of the meeting/event, raise the image of the university, and support its mission. We will be an active partner in planning meetings/events and will strive to provide a quality, welcoming experience.

Students for set-up, onsite event support and strike are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Summer Office Hours
Monday through Friday; 8:00am-4:00pm

News and Announcements:
3/15/19: Augsburg University Events Intern, Ariel Gutierrez ’19, receives the International Live Events Association-Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter’s 2019 Volunteer of the Year Awards at the organization’s annual Minnesota Star Awards program.
3/2018: University Events Senior Event Planner, Sarah Cash-Darvell, CSEP, received the Minnesota Meetings & Events Up & Coming Special Event Planner of the Year at a ceremony held at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
3/31/17: Event and Conference Planning is re-organized as University Events.

3/2016: University Events Director, Jodi Collen, CSEP, received the Minnesota Meetings & Events Best Special Event Planner and induction into the MME 2015 Hall of Fame.
