  United States Academic Decathlon: In April 2019, Minnesota will host the United States Academic Decathlon national competition. More than 70 teams from across the United States, China and the United Kingdom will attend the national competition in Bloomington, MN April 25–27.

In Academic Decathlon, students participate in 10 events: economics, mathematics, science, social science, literature, art, music, essay, speech and interview. There is also a compilation event called Super Quiz that combines all areas into a quiz show style format.

USAD is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for speech or interview as well as proctors for written exams and the Super Quiz. Without volunteer judges and proctors, this event would not be possible. Please consider sharing this information with your colleagues and education students to join us at this exciting competition!
