$5 Cash Incentive for Research Study Participants

Hello Fellow Auggies!

My name is Anabel Chavez, a social psychology major and McNair Scholar at Augsburg College. I am conducting research this summer, and I would like to invite you to participate in my study!

This study measures how autobiographical memories can affect satisfaction in a romantic relationship. Therefore, the study will ask for participants to disclose two personal relationship-defining memories. Participants are required to be at least 18 years of age and are currently in a romantic (but not marital) relationship. Participants are also required to have been in their current romantic relationship for at least 6 months (or longer).

The study contains two phases, one which requires you to complete an online survey on your own time or at home (5-10 minutes), and the second phase requires you to come to campus to take a more extensive survey (20-30 minutes). Participants will also receive a $5 cash compensation at this time.

For any further questions, concerns, or to schedule an appointment, please send me an email at chavez@augsburg.edu

Thank You!

$10 Target Gift Card for Research Study Participants

Hello Students,

My name is Darby Lindgren and I am a senior Exercise Science student and an URGO researcher this summer at Augsburg. I am investigating a modified version of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) test in Division III male college soccer players and need healthy male Augsburg College students (ages 18-24) to participate in this study as part of the control group. You may not be currently a part of an Augsburg athletic team. This study involves a one-hour visit to Kennedy Center Physiology lab (room 309) for Functional Movement Screen testing and a video of a single-leg squat. Participants will receive a $10 gift card to Target. You can come back after a week for further research testing and another $5 gift card.

You can reach me at: lindgre6@augsburg.edu to get more details or to schedule an appointment time.

Thank you!

Darby Lindgren

Dog/House-Sitting in July

Hi: I will be out of town the month of July, and I'm in need of a responsible dog-lover to take care of my 9-year old dog, in exchange for free rent (my room would rent for $550). I live in a big garden level duplex apartment next to Powderhorn Park (east side). My roommate is nice young professional woman who spends her time at home in her room, so you'll have the house mostly to yourself. I have Internet access, and a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is free yoga and Zumba at the park, the Mayday Café is a block away, and there is easy access to various bus lines, Central and Midtown markets, and the Greenway.

My border collie, Oveja, is mellow and well behaved. She needs a 20 min. morning walk, and a 30-45 min. afternoon walk in the nearby park. I'd prefer if she is not left without a potty break in the backyard for more than 5 hours, but she can do up to 8. She is civil around dogs, but prefers humans, likes car rides (not required), and loves to be pet. If you are interested or know someone who might be email Beliza Torres: narvaezb@augsburg.edu
