Islamophobia?
Peace, love and respect my fellow Auggies!
Do you have questions about Islam or Muslims? Curious? Not sure how to approach a Muslim? Have you ever met or talked with a Muslim (any gender)? In the post-911 era and with all the false information going around in the world about Islam and Muslims, I invite you to have a dialogue or just chat. We have a Muslim Student Association (MSA) on campus too. I, Reies Romero, am a convert to the religion of Islam (2006) and I would be willing to meet with anyone for lunch, tea, dinner, or just to talk about anything. Feel free to contact me (info below) or the MSA at augsburgmsa@augsburg.edu. Let's build bridges together and make Augsburg a truly inclusive campus and a great example for the state and community. Have a great day!

The Life Advice Project
Walk around campus from December 10-17 and you may notice a unique set of design inspired words. The Life Advice Project, a series of public art installations was created by students in Susan Boecher's Design course (Art 102) as part of their final project. For the project, students selected a word and then asked to create a design piece that prompts thought and reflection. Inspired by Stefan Sagmeister, New York Graphic Designer, the Life Advice Project infuses design based artwork into public spaces that are frequently assumed or overlooked. The project is to encourage mindfulness by prompting people to look, pause and consider.
