Wanted: Camping/Canoeing Partner For Short Trip

WANTED: Adventurous, flexible and easy going camping/canoeing partner for short trip up north

Why: Monitor loons on two lakes. Loons are indicator species and the Minn. state bird.
When: Approx. July 5-July 8 (last day to count loons is July 7)
How: Drive in my car with canoe on top
Who: Me and one or two of you who want to camp and have a basic skill level of canoeing. I am a seasoned loon monitoring volunteer and car camper.
Where: North of Finland, Minn.
Cost: Not very much. You chip in with food/firewood and pay personal expenses.

I need a partner who can help take the canoe on and off the car and who can canoe with me on the two lakes I've volunteered to monitor. We go at our own pace so it's not too hard for novice canoeists. The rest of the time is just hanging out and relaxing, swimming, canoeing, reading or whatever. It's so beautiful and peaceful, but there are plenty of mosquitos. I provide canoe, paddles and life preservers, tents, sleeping bags and the cooking items we might need. Cooking over a fire. Nice pit toilets and drinkable water, no sinks or showers.
