Document Shredding

The Facilities Department is scheduling a document shredding company to be on campus the morning of Wednesday, June 22nd. If you have any confidential materials that you wish to be shredded at that time, please box them up and mark the boxes 'to be shredded'. Then, submit an online facilities work request no later than Monday, June 20th for our staff to pick up these boxes from your office before the shredding company arrives. MN Reading Corps Needs YOU

How do you kick-start a career? By changing the world.

Minnesota Reading Corps tutors change worlds every single school year. In fact, they'll change 18,000 worlds in 2010-11 alone. These tutors work with students to help them achieve success in reading. All while building valuable professional experience. Get a kick start on your career while making a difference as a Minnesota Reading Corps tutor! Every year, this AmeriCorps program places and trains hundreds of tutors in elementary schools and preschools across the state. As one of these tutors, you'll use research-based instructional methods to help students become successful readers by third grade.

During your eleven-month service, you'll receive extensive training, support and general professional development opportunities. In addition, you'll receive a modest living stipend, an education award of up to $5,550 and other benefits if eligible. Interested? Positions for the 2011-12 school year begin this August.
