Got Privilege? Got Cynicism? Got Hope?

Here is an excerpt from the poem, "In response to cynicism" by Ariel Luckey:

"…come
we can wait no longer
we must act now
in our name
work for a world where children are safe

and we need your help
HERE NOW

it's not too late to build schools
to blow bubbles to bake bread
to boycott sweatshops
to sing…"

Take Our Library Survey

Lindell Library is surveying students, and it involves chocolate!

As our library evolves, Lindell's staff members want to know how well the library's space and services are meeting students' needs. So, now until Sunday, Augsburg students are invited to take a quick two-page survey, available either in paper form (look for the green sheets stacked throughout the library), or in electronic form (look on the library Web site, http://www.augsburg.edu/library ).

It should take only a few minutes -- and when you turn in the paper form at the library's Learning Commons, you get chocolate!

We value your opinions and hope EVERYONE takes the survey. (You don't need to take it twice; online and paper are the same survey.) See you at the library!
