Reception for Bridget Robinson-Riegler

I invite you to join me at a reception on Friday, June 26th, 12:30-1:30 in OGC 100 to thank Bridget Robinson-Riegler for her work in the Dean's Office over the past two years.

Bridget's last day in her role as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs will be June 30th and she will be on sabbatical leave during Fall, 2009. I look forward to this opportunity to honor Bridget's contributions to the college, and to wish her a successful sabbatical leave, as we anticipate her return to the classroom next spring.

Groupwise Mail Maintenance, June 26, 7 p.m.

Access to Groupwise will be interrupted on Friday, June 26 beginning at 7:00PM as the system is upgraded. We expect downtime to last from 1-2 hours. During this time, mail will be queued and delivered when the upgrade is complete. Student mail will not be affected.

Authorization Invoices processed with a "On-Hold" request originally to be picked up on Friday, July 3rd will be available on Wednesday, July 1st anytime after 1:00 pm due to the 4th of July holiday.

Telephone System Maintenance, July 2, 9 a.m.

There will be a short interruption to campus telephone service on Thursday, July 2nd around 9:00am as we replace the battery system. We expect total downtime to be around 5-15 minutes. All campus telephones will be affected.

Alumni Trip to Italy

You are invited to be inspired and enriched traveling with Augsburg alumni and friends on a journey of discovery to Italy this November 2-12. Hosted by art professor Kristin Anderson, this exploration of Italian art, history, culture and cuisine begins in Northern Italy and ends in the Eternal City of Rome. Stops include Venice, Padua, Ravenna, Tuscany, Florence and the Umbria Region. An included day excursion to the archeological site of Pompeii is part of the stay in Rome.
