Standing Catering Orders

A'Viands is excited to offer its services to its new community, Augsburg College. Unfortunately, due to the change over from Sodexo, many of the previously placed catering orders went with Sodexo. A'Viands is asking its new family to be patient and helpful by resubmitting previous catering orders. If there are any questions, please contact Michelle Inserra at minserra@aviands.com or at 612-359-6474. A'Viands, also known as Augsburg Dining Service, is looking forward to building a great relationship with this great community. Thank you for your understanding,

Kidwell Named to New Retention Position

The Enrollment Management division is pleased to announce that Michele Kidwell has agreed to serve as Director of Retention for 2008-09. In this new position, Kidwell will implement and manage a student outreach program aimed at early identification of students across all academic programs who are at risk for withdrawing. She will coordinate this effort with staff and faculty, particularly those involved with student support services and advising. Kidwell will also facilitate a retention work team that will assist in the development of a retention plan. This position reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Kidwell, a former McNair Scholar, majored in English in Augsburg's Weekend College program and graduated in 2005. Her professional experience includes coaching high school students with Admission Possible and training staff at U.S. Bank. Michele will earn her Master of Arts in Leadership later this summer.
