Submitter:
Thomas S Ruffaner, Day Custodial Supervisor, Custodial Services

Message: If you're a commuter from the west metro, you'll soon have another option to park your car and hop on a Metro Transit bus for your trips to downtown, the University of Minnesota or Augsburg College. An expanded Park and Ride re-opens Saturday, June 2 on the southwest corner of I-394 and County Road 73. The Park and Ride, featuring a ramp with 750 free parking spaces, will be served by three express routes - routes 652, 673 and 675. All express routes connect with the light rail stops in downtown Minneapolis for easy connections to Augsburg stops at 6th Street in Cedar Riverside or the Franklin Avenue station. The buses also continue on from downtown and go to the University of Minnesota. Bus schedules for these express routes will be at the transit schedule rack near the cash machine by next week.
